Core rule
All config comes from environment variables, never from code, and is validated at startup.
Execution Phases
Phase 01Pick a strategy
Default to rolling; use blue-green for critical services and canary for high-traffic or risky changes.
Phase 02Containerize
Write multi-stage Dockerfiles with pinned tags, a non-root user and a HEALTHCHECK, keeping secrets out of the image.
Phase 03Build the pipeline
Configure CI/CD as lint, typecheck, tests, image build, staging deploy, smoke tests, then production.
Phase 04Health checks and config
Add health endpoints and Kubernetes probes, and validate environment variables against a schema at startup.
Phase 05Rollback and readiness
Prepare a rollback path and work through the application, infrastructure, monitoring, security and operations checklists.
Permissions (summarised from SKILL.md)
| Capability | Needed | Details |
|---|---|---|
| File writes | Required | Writes Dockerfiles, GitHub Actions workflows, health endpoints, Kubernetes probes and config validation code. |
| Command execution | Not required | Rollback commands such as kubectl or vercel appear only as examples; the skill does not ask the agent to run them. |
| Network outbound | Not required | The skill makes no network calls; deployment is done by the pipelines it helps write. |
