Core rule
Build once and promote the same artifact through all environments.
Execution Phases
Phase 01Gather inputs
Pin down app type, deploy target, environment topology, rollback requirements, gate constraints and monitoring stack.
Phase 02Stages and gates
Order build, test and security scans, staging, approval, production and verification; run fast checks first and add manual or metric gates.
Phase 03Choose rollout strategy
Pick rolling, blue-green, canary (e.g. Argo Rollouts) or feature flags, with annotated configuration.
Phase 04Health checks and rollback
Use deep readiness checks that hit real dependencies plus post-deploy smoke scripts, and roll back automatically on health or metric failure.
